Jennifer Reising

Jennifer Reising has more than
17 years of experience in media relations, strategic planning, writing/editing,
and crisis communications. She has demonstrated success in developing
communications programs for government, non-profit organizations
and corporations.
Reising’s media efforts for
the American Society of Nephrology’s annual meeting--doubled
the media coverage from the previous year. She developed an employee
communications program for a pharmaceutical company, conducted media
outreach for a United States Treasury Department campaign and presented
a crisis communications workshop for the American Society of Clinical
Oncology. Reising has worked with several Fortune 500 energy companies
to write and produce crisis communications videos for simulated
environmental disasters.
Before launching her own business
in 1998, Reising was as an account supervisor at Porter Novelli,
a worldwide public relations firm, where she managed a multi-faceted
national public education campaign for the National Institute of
Mental Health (NIMH). As an Communications Associate at the Corporate
Response Group, Inc., a crisis management consulting firm she was
responsible for services clients. Reising also was a reporter at
a local news service. She has written articles for a national parenting
magazine. Reising has a B.S. in Journalism (with honors) from the
University of Colorado, Boulder.
